Craig Marcinkowski named Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for startup Fotokite. Fotokite has announced Craig Marcinkowski as its Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. He will begin his new role at Fotokite by building a team of sales and service personnel to deliver world-class support to Fotokite’s U.S. Public Safety customer base. Fotokite combines aerial and ground-based robotics with flight control algorithms to create a kite-like tethered aerial camera system that can fly fully autonomously for over 24 hours.
“Craig is the latest outstanding team member to join the Fotokite team and brings with him a phenomenal track record of key contributions at Gryphon Sensors, SRC, and Lockheed Martin,” said Chris McCall, CEO at Fotokite. “Craig is a greatly respected leader in the UAS space and a deeply committed member of the Central New York community.” Marcinkowski previously served as Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development for Gryphon Sensors LLC, an SRC Company, Inc. Marcinkowski has nearly two decades of experience in the defense and aerospace industry, including software engineering, capture and program management, and domestic and international business development. Fotokite was awarded the grand prize of $1M last year during the GENIUS NY accelerator. Since then the company has built up its first U.S office at The Tech Garden which now has five full-time employees and currently looking to hire several more.
